
Congratulations on the successful completion of your studies! Commencement is the most significant academic event for students and the entire university community. It is the culmination of years of hard work and personal and financial sacrifice for students and families alike. These ceremonies will celebrate the traditional observances that accompany one of the highest rewards of academic achievement.

Order Your Cap and Gown
If you plan to attend the May 17 commencement ceremony, you must order
your free cap and gown before Wednesday, April 9. It is important that you do not show
up to the ceremony in your old cap and gown.
Beginning April 9, all cap and gown orders must be placed in person at The Village
Bookstore. You will be charged a late order rush fee. All orders can be picked
up May 1 - May 16 at the bookstore.
If you are graduating with honors, you will be given a separate piece during
distribution. You will not see an option for honors material when ordering. If
you are not returning until May 17, you should make arrangements with The Village
Bookstore to have your cap and gowns delivered to your address at least one week
before graduation.

Who can attend? A student must have 25 credits or less (undergrad) and 18 or less (grad) left to complete at the start of the spring term to be eligible to walk in the commencement ceremony.
Graduation obligations Students are required to submit an online diploma application. This ensures the correct information is presented on your diploma, and that you receive it at the correct address. Students must also complete the exit interview with Student Financial Services.

All yearbooks will be mailed to your permanent home address during the Fall term.
