What is New Student Orientation?

Orientation is a mandatory, 2-day program for new students, and is highly recommended for parents/guardians.

Presentations, small-group discussions, academic testing and advising will help you arrive on campus in the fall informed and confident about embarking on the next chapter in your life.

You'll also be able to meet with a financial planner, gain in-depth knowledge of our online housing registration system, review your class schedule, learn to use jwuLink and the Grad Planning System (GPS) and take placement exams if required.

Orientation is your first step in your transition to Johnson & Wales University, and is intended to promote your academic success and individual development. We encourage you to actively participate.
