Getting Here If you need to book a flight, the Charlotte Douglas International Airport is a 15-minute drive from campus. Taxi service from the airport costs approximately $25. Two local cab companies in Charlotte are Crown Cab, 704-334-6666, and Diamond Cab, 704-333-3030.

The Sprinter is a public transportation service connecting Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Center City Charlotte. The Sprinter fare is the same as the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) local fare.

Parking Limited parking is available in Lot A (215 S. Cedar St). Overflow parking is available in Lot B (709 W. Trade Street, next to Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church). Additional parking is available at cost in the parking garage located on Cedar Street.

Note: Due to the NFL football game on Sunday, October 21, on- and off-campus lots will charge a fee for parking. Parking charges can range from $10-$25 dollars based on proximity to the stadium. JWU will not reimburse families for incurred parking charges on Sunday.
