Charlotte weather in October can be unpredictable; past weather for Family Weekend has been anywhere from sunny and hot to cloudy, cool and rainy. So make sure to look at the local forecast and pack accordingly. Be prepared!

Choose Which Events to Attend We strongly encourage you to pre-register for off-campus events like the Scarowinds tour, Carolina Renaissance Festival and the NFL game, which tend to fill up quickly.

Purchased tickets for off-campus events can be picked up at check-in. Any remaining tickets will be sold at check-in on a first come, first served basis. No refunds will be given once any remaining tickets are sold on site.
