Your JWU visit experience My JWU visit experience was extremely exciting because I knew I was coming to a brand new campus! Although the campus was not completely ready, it was a rush for me because I knew that I could make the Charlotte Campus my own because no one had ever been here!

Why are you a CAT student? I am a CAT student because I am allowed to express myself in a positive way that encourages others. For instance, when I'm giving a tour it's a great feeling to know that I am helping a student just like myself make a major life decision...going to college at Johnson & Wales University!

What did you wish you knew (or someone told you) prior to visiting campus? I wish I knew early on that the key to being successful in college and in life is that all you really need is to be knowledgeable, confident, and professional!

What "insider’s tip" do you have for prospective students about visiting? My tip would be to not be afraid to ask LOTS of questions! Also take advantage of all the programs the admissions office offers, such as Career Explorations or Wildcat (Fly In/Drive In) Weekends!

What "must see" things do you recommend prospective students see while they're here visiting? You must ride the free trolley Uptown and explore the city of Charlotte! Prospective students also must eat a wonderful dish prepared by culinary students, or in the dining center...the food is great!
