Your JWU visit experience My first visit to the university was for the National High School Culinary Challenge and the university personnel were great.  They made me feel as if I belonged here from day one!  All of our questions about the university were answered quickly and they exceeded the expectations that were set by me and my family.

Why are you a CAT student? As a CAT student here at the university I am able to show prospective students everything that the university has to offer them as they begin their life-long careers.  It gives me the opportunity to show others why Johnson & Wales is unique in its own ways, and how students benefit from this.

What did you wish you knew (or someone told you) prior to visiting campus? I wish that I would have been told about the 98% employment rate within 60 days of graduation because this would have cut the "College Shopping" time down considerably.

What "insider’s tip" do you have for prospective students about visiting? When you come to visit the university, ask as many questions as you can. DON'T BE SHY!  There are professors, students, financial planners, and many other resources on campus at all times who are willing to take the time to talk with you. We are here to answer all of your questions and to help you as much as possible with the transition from high school to college.

What "must see" things do you recommend prospective students see while they're here visiting? I would highly recommend taking the FREE Gold Rush Trolley to Uptown Charlotte and explore all of the exciting new venues that Charlotte has to offer!
