Your JWU visit experience My ACCESS interview with Lou Faria went great. The office staff was extremely friendly. The tour went well and helped with my decision to attend Johnson & Wales.

Why are you a CAT student? I found out about CAT when I first got a job as an admissions tour guide. It sounded like a good organization, so I decided to join. After working several open houses and doing fun activities with the CAT team last year, I look forward to what this year has in store.

What did you wish you knew (or someone told you) prior to visiting campus? That the campus is a simple layout, and not to get confused by the zigzag route the tour takes. The campus is basically a rectangle with Weybosset and Pine Street outlining it and the Yena Center and Xavier ending it off.

What "insider’s tip" do you have for prospective students about visiting? Ask questions! Don’t hesitate to ask anything no matter how insignificant you may think it is. You never know, the rest of the group could be wondering the same thing.

What "must see" things do you recommend prospective students see while they're here visiting? The Providence Place Mall, Antonio’s Pizza on Thayer Street, WaterFire, and - weather permitting - Newport (beaches and Thames Street).
