bio Brian Bensema completed his bachelor's degree at Knox College and his master's degree at Western Illinois University. He has spent the past few years teaching introductory personal health and wellness courses at Southern Illinois University Carbondale where he is currently a doctoral candidate. Brian brings his love for higher education and passion to help students succeed to the Johnson & Wales admissions team. He spends much of his free time outdoors in a variety of activities (hiking, mountain biking, camping, backpacking, running, kayaking, etc.) or he can be found relaxing with a great book.
