Elena Doerrie BS International Business '96, AS Advertising/Public Relations '94

bio Elena Doerrie is a native Texan and Johnson & Wales University alum from our Providence, Rhode Island campus. She holds an associate degree in Advertising Communications and a bachelor's degree in International Business. While a student at J&W, Elena was a volunteer in the Admissions Office and discovered her passion for recruiting. After graduation she moved to Dallas, Texas and attended the University of Dallas Graduate School of Management, earning her MBA in International Human Resource Management. She started her professional recruiting career as a consultant for staffing firms in Dallas and her clients included companies such as Siemens Nixdorf, Deloitte & Touche and Citigroup. Elena returned to Johnson & Wales as an admissions representative in 2001. In her free time, Elena enjoys gardening and working on home remodeling projects with her husband.
