Jane Bowers MBA Hospitality Administration '95 bio Jane Bowers graduated from Hartwick College where she majored in Political Science. She worked in the hospitality industry, in hotels and resorts along the East Coast of the United States, while attending college and upon graduation. In the early 70s, she opened her gourmet seafood restaurant on Cape Cod, which she successfully managed for almost twenty years. Her first position within education was as a food and beverage instructor at Paul Smith's College at Hotel Saranac. She began her career at Johnson & Wales University on Practicum Properties, as Food & Beverage Director at the Warwick, RI facilities. While the Director of Career Development at J&W's Providence Campus, she earned her master's degree in Hospitality Administration.
