Jan Jordan BS Family & Consumer Sciences/Secondary Teaching Certificate bio Jan Jordan received her bachelor's of science and secondary education degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in Home Economics. She taught for one year at Chaffey College in Alta Loma, California. After living in Montana for 10 years, she move to North Carolina where she taught Family & Consumer Sciences to junior and senior high school students and was involved in FCCLA at the local, state, and national levels. As a classroom teacher, Jan appreciated the hands-on education available to students at Johnson & Wales, and in 1999 she left teaching to become an Admissions Representative with J&W.
