Melissa DiFilippo
bio Melissa DiFilippo is a native of Providence, Rhode Island. A 1998 graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Melissa earned a bachelor of science degree in Management as well as an associate degree in Finance and Investments.
While a student at JWU, Melissa worked full-time in the Career Development Office. Immediately following graduation, Melissa joined CIGNA HealthCare in their rigorous management rotational program. Melissa worked in Bloomfield, Connecticut before accepting a advanced position with the company's Employer Account Service Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Melissa lists handling health insurance products for multi- million dollar companies throughout North America as a career highlight.
Melissa is happily married to her husband, David, and has two children, Dante and Alessia. When not working for the University, Melissa enjoys traveling, family time and volunteering at her children's school.
