bio Meredith McVeety joined Johnson & Wales University in 2007 as an Admissions Representative for Virginia. Prior to joining JWU, Meredith worked in the hospitality field and held various positions including concierge, banquet server, bartender and caterer. She had the opportunity to work at the Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, VA, a five-star, five-diamond facility, where she developed an appreciation for delivering outstanding customer service. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a master’s degree in elementary education and a bachelor’s degree in religious studies. Having worked in the field of education, Meredith is very excited about the hands-on learning JWU students receive in their education. She enjoys working with students to help them find the best fit for their education.
