Easing the financial burden
JWU participates in a variety of federal, state, private and institutional programs, which help ease the financial burden that the cost of education may pose. Students who demonstrate financial need, superior academic achievement, or other circumstances will be considered for grants, loans, scholarships and other forms of aid.
The university is committed to providing quality education at affordable rates. Our team of financial planners is dedicated to helping you secure a maximum financial aid award. Furthermore, JWU has determined a modest tuition increase of three to four percent through 2011, compared to the average annual tuition increase of six percent instituted by private universities nationwide.
To be considered for aid (annually, each academic year):
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which determines your financial need, as soon as possible after Jan 1.
- Finish the FAFSA before the filing priority deadline of March 1 to receive the maximum amount of financial aid.
- Review Applications & Deadlines for important steps.
