get involved
By becoming involved with the Johnson & Wales Alumni Association, you become part of a special affiliation. Whether you speak to students in a classroom, recruit students, join an alumni chapter or serve on the Alumni Council, you'll walk away with a sense of accomplishment and pride, knowing that you truly made a difference in the lives of Johnson & Wales students and alumni. By getting involved, you'll be able to participate in a variety of rewarding activities such as:

admissions

If you are interested in becoming involved in the recruiting process, we encourage you to participate in your choice of a variety of programs such as open house, fly-in/drive-in, Admissions Information Meeting (AIMS), or other special programs for the prospective student. It makes a tremendous difference to students when they can speak with alumni about their personal experiences and opportunities.

alumni chapters

Get involved with an alumni chapter within your local area. There are a variety of alumni chapters that are organized by location, a great way to keep you connected with Johnson & Wales, reconnect with fellow classmates, and establish new relationships.

alumni council

Serve on the JWU Alumni Council Board. Each member is elected by fellow alumni to serve as a vital link between Johnson & Wales and its alumni. With this combined effort, each member provides representation of the university, leadership, and innovation.

alumni events

Visit our online events calendar often to find out the latest news of our weekly and monthly events. Attend a Wildcat Wednesday, reception or other various campus functions -- all events are ways of which you can participate and stay connected.

refer a student

Alumni play an important role in our recruiting efforts by connecting us with prospective students. Do you know a student who would be a perfect match for JWU? To refer a student, please fill out the online referral form.

student programs

Alumni volunteers are encouraged to come to the university and speak about their career experiences in the classroom to current and graduating students in career education classes. While speaking to students, not only does it enhance their education while attending Johnson & Wales, but it also raises awareness on the importance of the Alumni Association.
