Alumni Home North Miami
You’ve grown since your Johnson & Wales experience. So have we.
The North Miami Campus now supports more than 2,000 students from 50 states and 45 countries. As part of our strategic plan, FOCUS 2011, we’ve expanded our academic offerings, added new degree programs, and undertaken ongoing campus improvements. (You can see the changes for yourself by taking a campus visual tour.)
For three consecutive years, the campus has earned a position on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, proof of our continued support of the greater North Miami community we call home.
Working in conjunction with the city of North Miami, extensive renovations of 17th Avenue are being planned, including an improved water system, redesigned lighting and right-of-way improvements.
By registering with JWU's alumni network, you will be informed of all the exciting changes going on throughout JWU. You’ll also find out about ways to stay involved with our growing community of alumni, from regional events to programming initiatives that can benefit you in your personal and professional life. In turn, we will make you aware of opportunities to lend your time, talent and expertise back to your alma mater.
This past year has been one of our busiest. We’ve added two new chapters to the Southern region, Miami and Tampa Bay/Orlando, with plans for further expansion. Growing numbers of alumni have reconnected at JWU events as diverse as Alumni Leaders Week, a reception honoring President Emeritus Donald McGregor's 40 years of distinguished service to the university, and our annual Toys for Tots fundraising drive.
We have many exciting events in store for the coming year, including the Success Board Series Award and an all-class reunion.
There’s never been a better time for you to reconnect with JWU and become a part of our vibrant university community. I look forward to meeting up at one of our many upcoming events.
