Alumni Home Charlotte
You’ve grown since your Johnson & Wales experience. So have we.
The Charlotte Campus now supports nearly 2,500 students from 46 states and 15 countries. As part of our strategic plan, FOCUS 2011, we’ve expanded our academic offerings, added new degree programs, and undertaken campus improvements. (You can see the changes for yourself by taking a campus visual tour.)
For three consecutive years, the campus has earned a position on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, proof of our continued support of the Charlotte community we call home.
By registering with JWU's alumni network, you will be informed of all the exciting changes going on throughout JWU. You’ll also find out about ways to stay involved with our growing community of alumni, from regional events to programming initiatives that can benefit you in your personal and professional life. In turn, we will make you aware of opportunities to lend your time, talent and expertise back to your alma mater.
This past year has been one of our busiest. Growing numbers of alumni have reconnected at JWU chapter events and receptions in Charlotte, N.C., Atlanta, Ga., Charleston, S.C., Hilton Head Island, S.C., Washington, D.C., and Norfolk, Va.
We’ve also reached out to our community. The Low Country chapter worked with the Low Country Food Bank to collect, organize and redistribute canned goods to those in need. The Hilton Head Island chapter organized two dinners directly benefiting troops and their families, while the Charlotte chapter collaborated with the Student Alumni Association (SAA) on a book drive to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters.
We have many exciting events in store for the coming year, including the Success Board Series Award, Alumni Leaders Week and an all-class reunion.
There’s never been a better time for you to reconnect with JWU and become a part of our vibrant university community. I look forward to meeting up at one of our many upcoming events.
