Applying to JWU
Through a review of your application and transcripts, we’ll learn more about you and how your accomplishments make you a strong candidate for admission.
There is no deadline for submitting applications, but you are advised to apply as early as possible before your intended date of enrollment for full consideration.
Be sure to complete the application in full, as an incomplete application could affect eligibility for JWU scholarships. Information submitted after the initial application has been received will not be considered for additional scholarships. For US students, eligibility for university need-based and federal aid is determined through the FAFSA.
Completing the FAFSA
A crucial first step toward receiving financial aid for college is completing the FAFSA. This is a federal process used to determine your eligibility to receive financial aid, and everyone — regardless of financial means — should fill out this form. Be sure to include JWU's school code: 003404.
Transcripts
It is your responsibility to provide verification of high school/secondary school completion. Without verification, you may not be allowed to register or continue enrollment.
Transcripts must be forwarded to the university as soon as possible to ensure maximum scholarship opportunities. JWU awards scholarships based on academic achievement, participation in clubs and organizations and work experience.
Transfer students must submit both high school and college transcripts.
