editors (2) Responsible for overseeing the production of the book. They work directly with the staff advisor and student staff. The editors have contact with our publishing company and make sure all sections of the book are completed on time.
copy editors Copy editors are responsible for creating and editing text for their respective sections. They work directly with the staff writers and photographers to complete each section of the book. Sections include: Clubs, Activities, Sports, and Academics.
photographers Responsible for taking pictures of events throughout the school year. All photographers work with each other to cover the needed events as determined by the editors. Photographers work with each event coordinator to make them aware they will be on site photographing the event to allow sufficient coverage. Photographers must work to ensure all events are properly covered and explained.
staff writers These writers help create the substance of the book. From the beginning to the end, they work with the editors to complete their sections and ensure the needs to the copy editors are met.
layout/design This key person works with the editors to create and design templates for each section of the book. Experience in Adobe PageMaker and InDesign are a must to hold this position.
