The Denver metro region has experienced a significant winter storm. Johnson & Wales University remains closed but the campus will continue to serve the 300 estimated students who are unable to leave for holiday break due to the weather.

The universities' residential education team will keep the residence halls open until noon on Sunday, December 24th and the campus dining center will continue to operate until Sunday brunch serving brunch and dinner daily.

The facilities team is on campus engaged in snow removal along with the campus safety and security team who will remain on campus until ground and air travel is restored and the campus has been secured.

A crisis management team composed of university staff and administration continues to manage the situation. Any student who needs accommodations or assistance after noon on Sunday should contact their residence assistant or campus safety.
