Donna Braun is an adjunct faculty member at Johnson & Wales University’s Graduate School. She brings extensive experience as director of the Center for Leadership and Educational Equity in Providence. Her roles include director of Principal Residency Network, a residency-based administrator certification program, and of Learning Leader Network, a statewide network of 200 administrators and teacher leaders. Braun draws from previous experience ranging from high school teacher to school cofounder, as well as director of Curriculum & Instruction and school design consultant for the Urban Collaborative Accelerated Program in Providence. Braun is certified by the Rhode Island Department of Education as a Professional Middle/Secondary School Principal and Provisional Teacher of Secondary General Science. Braun is a member of the School Reform Initiative, National Staff Development Council, American Educational Research Association, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and Rhode Island Association of Secondary Principals/NASSP.
