Lawrence Filippelli

At Johnson & Wales University’s Graduate School, Lawrence Filippelli teaches Management, Career Assessment and Planning, Professional Ethics, Strategic Planning with Technology and Effective Communications.

He is assistant superintendent of schools for Rhode Island’s Scituate School Department, as well as President/Proprietor, Education Consulting Services for The Education Consortium, LLC.

Filippelli was appointed to a Special RI Senate Commission to Study and Make Recommendations to the Problem of Cyberthreats, Cyberbullying, Bullying and Sexting by the President of the Rhode Island Senate in 2010.

Filippelli has served as principal and teacher within the Scituate and Providence School Departments. He is a member of the Rhode Island School Superintendents Association and Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development.
