This program prepares you to work in all facets of this fast-paced industry, from managing a tropical resort to coordinating concierge service at a high-end hotel or negotiating tours to exotic locales.

Our immersive approach blends classroom education with hands-on learning and related work experience in the hotel, travel/tourism and food sectors. Through this program you’ll learn

Through a term-long rotational internship, you'll put classroom theory to work in a real-world setting. Past locations have included international tour companies, cruise line operators, tourism offices and convention and visitor's bureaus.

This career-building program culminates in the Familiarization (FAM) Tour, a group project where your team will research, negotiate, schedule and implement a once-in-a-lifetime tour to an exciting locale, either in the US or abroad. The program is also enhanced by mini-FAM tours and visiting guest speakers.

You can customize your degree further by selecting a concentration option specific to your area(s) of interest.
