Robotic Engineering Technology

JWU’s two-year associate degree program in Robotic Engineering Technology integrates concepts from computer programming, digital electronics, circuit theory, and robotics to provide a comprehensive education in the area of robotics and automation.

JWU School of Technology Robotic Engineering Program 230x160From mechatronics to the latest theories in artificial intelligence, microprocessor development to speech synthesis and real-time programming, you’ll develop the techniques, skills and methodologies to formulate efficient solutions to complex robotic engineering problems.

Coursework covers such industry-ready skills as maintenance and troubleshooting, robotic hardware design and software development for real-time applications.

The program culminates in a sophomore-year technology internship, where you’ll have the opportunity to gain work experience at industry partnership sites such as Intel, Motorola and Atrion.

This program tracks into the four-year bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering. With the guidance of your faculty advisor, you make that decision during your fourth term; adjustment to your required course work will be established prior to AS graduation.
