The curriculum provides you with the opportunity to build upon your technical skills with leadership development, project management and team-building skills. From development and implementation to client-side management and maintenance, you’ll take part in every aspect of the software development cycle.
Learn to apply understanding of both historical context and emerging developments in the field to design and create efficient software solutions using current standards. Innovations in open-source software, distributed systems and programming languages will be covered, as will technical writing and other client-side communication skills.
Customize your curriculum further through three application domain courses, all of which can be used to tailor the program to your industry of interest. These courses will be determined through consultation with your faculty advisor and will become part of your degree.
