Clubs & Organizations
The Office of Student Activities (OSA) serves as a resource to all student organizations. Our comprehensive roster of clubs, organizations and activities is as varied as your interests.
With more than 30 clubs and organizations to choose from, ranging from cultural arts, athletics, and community service to leadership programs and student government, you’ll never lack for things to do. Participation in student organizations helps to round out your college experiences by sharpening your organizational, leadership and communication skills.
If you’re interested in starting a new student group, the Student Clubs & Organizations Handbook (650K PDF) can answer many of your questions, including (but not limited to) the following topics:
- club benefits and responsibilities
- guidelines for programs
- guidelines for receiving funding
- the role of the advisor
All active and petitioning clubs and organizations receive a hard copy of the guide. If you need help forming a group or publicizing group activities, email us or stop by our office, which is located in Cedar Hall South, Suite 115.
Governing Organizations
Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student organization charged with the creation, organization, and implementation of many of the activities that come out of the Office Student Activities.
Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the official voice of the student body, thereby building trust and support for students, encouraging student involvement, fostering a sense of community on campus, and facilitating effective communication between students and university administration.
