Whether you have a few hours or a few days, we offer a variety of visitor events so you can see for yourself what it’s like to live and learn at JWU.

Immerse yourself in a field of study during our Shadow Program, Major Days or Career Explorations weekends. Get an in-depth taste of student life during Wildcat Weekend. Meet with a financial planner and review your transcripts during an open house or Fast Track Friday. Or acquaint yourself with our campus during a daily tour.

When you visit, make the Admissions Office your first stop. We recommend that you call us at 866-598-2427 to ensure our staff is available to welcome you.

Our office is open weekdays from 8:30am-4:30pm to help you with directions, maps, parking suggestions or other info. Download our visitor checklist (60K PDF) to help organize your thoughts before your visit.

If you’d like to visit on your own and need overnight accommodations, the university has discounted rates for visitors at local hotels, including the neighboring Doubletree Hotel Charlotte-Gateway Village.
