Daniel Viveiros has been a franchise owner, an assistant manager with a local retail store and an assistant manager of the Rhode Island Inn, which is now the Radisson Hotel. Viveiros is a faculty advisor to Colleges against Cancer, serves on the University Committee for Academic Rank (UCAR) and has traveled frequently with the Summer Term Abroad students. Viveiros served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Vietnam Veterans of America Association, and the NRA. He is involved with the Wounded Warriors Project, the Freemasons, Fraternal Order of Police, 100 Club of RI, and the World Affairs Council of RI.
