Participation in the following programs results in national certification.
CPR and First Aid Campus Safety & Security offers certification in American Red Cross™ adult CPR, child and infant CPR, AED (automatic external defibrillator) and first aid. Classes are taught by certified staff instructors, and conducted at residence halls and fitness centers or upon request by a sponsoring department or group.
SAFE (Self-defense Awareness & Familiarization Exchange) is an educational crime-victim prevention and awareness program that encompasses preventative strategies and techniques to help teenaged and adult women reduce their risk of exposure to violence. The course also introduces participants to physical self defense.
