Special facilities include the Robert M. Nograd Center for Bachelor’s Degree Studies and a modernized nutrition kitchen.

In 2006, JWU's North Miami Campus upgraded one of its hot kitchen labs into a nutrition and demonstration kitchen, which is primarily used for JWU’s Nutrition and Sensory Analysis course. A demonstration camera was installed and linked to a 27-inch flat screen TV as well as a LCD projector to zoom in on individual students to show their progress in skill and to visualize demonstrations better done by the faculty.
