Food Service Entrepreneurship

Looking to open your own food-related small business or launch new food products? Offered through JWU’s College of Business, the Food Service Entrepreneurship bachelor of science degree is geared to business-minded students with a culinary background.

You’ll receive training from an integrated mix of custom entrepreneurial courses and traditional management, accounting, finance and marketing classes to build the necessary business knowledge base that capitalizes on your entrepreneurial drive and culinary/pastry skills.

The Larry Friedman International Center for Entrepreneurship offers the resources necessary to bring your business ideas to reality, including technological, administrative and professional assistance.

Through the Entrepreneurship Center and the RI Small Business Development Center (SBDC), you’ll also interact with real-world business clients, receive mentoring from JWU alums and compete for space in our new business incubator.
