Earn your Master of Education in Teaching & Learning (MEd) degree from Johnson & Wales University. In our two-year program, you'll develop your professional teaching skills to make a deeper impact on student learning.

Applying Theory in Your Classroom
As a practicing teacher, you’ll use your classroom as a learning laboratory to improve your teaching skills.

You'll sharpen your habits of reflection, responsiveness and persistence to constantly focus on student access, learning needs, well-being and achievement.

Professional Learning Community
You’ll move through the program with a cohort of fellow MEd students, learning to work collaboratively as you apply theory and knowledge.

Comprehensive Learning Model
You’ll examine teaching and learning through six comprehensive course modules and the completion of a capstone project.

The program focuses on integrating theory, research and application, so you’ll learn how to use research, assessment and contextual data to inform your teaching. Key program features include

Program Requirements
You may take a single course for graduate credit prior to making the decision to enroll in the full program.

To take more than one course, you must enroll in the MEd program, which requires

• Successful completion of six course modules
• Successful completion of a capstone project
• Compliance with all Johnson & Wales University policies
