Our program will give you with detailed exposure to all fashion and retail fields, especially the merchandising of garments, accessories, home furnishings, and specialty goods. You'll also study marketing, professional selling, advertising, promotion, buying, merchandise math, business practices, and other fashion and retail related subjects.

You'll spend time in the fashion capital of the world, New York City, visiting designer showrooms, resident buying offices, fashion museums, an abundance of retail stores, and fashion forecasting offices. You'll get on-the-job training and industry insight from working with customers and tracking inventory from purchase to sale.

Through this program you’ll also learn:

  • to perform the necessary procedures required for retail operations
  • about global fashion markets, designer contributions to the industry and manufacturing categories of fashion goods
  • marketing principles as applied to fashion goods
  • to identify, analyze and forecast future retail trends

You'll have the chance to hone these skills while participating in a term-long externship, held at a variety of host sites. And you'll have the opportunity to customize your degree by concentrating in Advertising, Human Resources Management, International Business or Operations Management.
