Our program will provide you with detailed exposure to all fashion and retail fields, especially the merchandising of garments, accessories, home furnishings, and specialty goods.

You'll also study marketing, professional selling, advertising, promotion, buying, merchandise math, business practices, and other fashion and retail related subjects.

You may have the chance to travel to places like New York to visit buying centers and showrooms, or to Paris to talk to senior executives about the business. You may also have the opportunity to visit international sites to learn about international markets and protocol, where you'll learn:

  • to perform the necessary procedures required for retail operations
  • about global fashion markets, designer contributions to the industry and manufacturing categories of fashion goods
  • marketing principles as applied to fashion goods
  • to identify, analyze and forecast future retail trends

You can further customize your studies by selecting a concentration option specific to your area(s) of interest.
