Accounting

Accounting is the language of business, and communicating financial information has become increasingly challenging in a dynamic global economy.

Under the guidance of faculty who combine strong theory with real-world experience, our program is designed to help you meet those challenges. Through a combination of core courses such as Principles of Accounting, Federal Taxes and Cost Accounting, you'll be well-prepared to pursue management positions in the accounting industry. You'll learn: 

• to analyze and record business transactions
• to prepare financial statements
• to perform other functions required by the profession
• to utilize effective comprehension of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

And you'll also be on your way toward a CPA designation by enrolling in our graduate program.

You'll also have the opportunity to customize your degree by concentrating on Casino Operations, Entrepreneurship, Fraud Examination, Information Technology, International Business, Lodging Operations, Management Accounting or Retail Industry.
