Are there residence halls that are reserved for first-year students only? Yes. On the Downcity Campus, McNulty Hall is reserved solely for first-year students in business, hospitality and technology. On the Harborside Campus, South and West Halls are reserved for first-year students. West Hall and McNulty Hall are also available to Access students.
What does my student need to bring with him/her to live in the hall? For itemized lists of what (and what not) to bring, see Residential Life.
Are the residence halls equipped with phone and internet connections? Yes, the rooms are equipped with the jacks for each service; however, you must supply your own phone.
Who do I go to if there is a problem with something in my room? Any problems should be brought to the attention of your floor’s resident assistants.
How will my returning student reserve his or her room and roommates? Returning students who wish to live on campus can apply for a room and specify a roommate choice upon their return from spring break in March. Please note that housing is not guaranteed for returning students, as our on-campus housing is limited.View Academics FAQ.
