JWU Providence : Business : Food Service Entrepreneurship

Food Service Entrepreneurship

Our Food Service Entrepreneurship is a four-year program culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree for two-year Culinary Arts or Baking & Pastry Arts program graduates.

The program’s integrated mix of entrepreneurial courses and traditional management, accounting, finance and marketing classes enables you to build the necessary business knowledge base to effectively capitalize on your culinary or baking and pastry skills.

Experiential opportunities both in and out of the classroom provide you with the business skills necessary to open your own business, manage a food-related business, or work as a corporate entrepreneur in a variety of industries.

The Larry Friedman International Center for Entrepreneurship offers the resources necessary to bring your business ideas to reality, including technological, administrative, and professional assistance.

Through various programs supported by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), you’ll have the opportunity to interact with real world business clients, as well as SBDC staff, students, and instructors. International programs may also include opportunities to travel overseas.
