In her advocacy roles, Sarah DeCataldo '04 continues a legacy of service that dates back to her days as a student. She was a member of the JWU Criminal Justice Association and involved with Alpha Phi Sigma, a criminal justice honors society. Today, Sarah is an advocate coordinator for SART (Sexual Assault Response Team), a service provided by Day One. She acts as a liaison between victims of violence, law enforcement and the Attorney General’s office. “At JWU, I did an internship at a non-profit agency working with victims of domestic violence,” says Sarah. “If it wasn’t for that opportunity, I would not be in the position I am today.”
