Founded in 1914, The College of Business is the oldest college within the university. It offers a wide variety of four-year business programs ranging from Advertising & Marketing Communications, International Business, Accounting, and Management to more innovative programs such as Entrepreneurship, Equine Studies, Fashion Merchandising & Retail Marketing, and Financial Services Management. JWU also offers many of these programs at its other campuses.
Through a multidisciplinary educational experience, the academic programs in the College of Business are designed for you to graduate with the knowledge and skills to succeed in your chosen field of study in the global economy. To meet the needs of employers, who seek graduates with not only specialized job skills but also the ability to think critically, communicate clearly, and manage ethically, the College of Business offers a wide range of liberal arts courses. These include logic, psychology, communication skills, leadership studies, environmental science and ethics. You may also participate in in-depth studies through concentrations.
