Parking

If you are visiting the Charlotte Campus for a Daily Tour, we strongly encourage you to register in advance for your visit.

For Week- Day visitors, parking is available in the Cedar Street Parking Deck, accessed from the DoubleTree Hotel:

Admissions visitors should bring their parking ticket to the Admissions Center to be validated. Admissions is only able to validate tickets for those attending an Admissions tour.

If you are visiting the Charlotte Campus for a weekend Admissions Event, complimentary parking is available. Be sure to display the required guest parking permit which you can obtain from Admissions.

JWU is able to validate parking for the Cedar Street Parking Deck located between West Trade street and 4th street:

Bring your parking ticket into Admissions so that it can be validated prior to leaving campus.

Prepare for the DNC (Sep 4-6)
Planning on parking near on on campus during the The Democratic National Convention? Here's what we can plan for:

  • Expect delays to enter parking areas; parking lots may require security checks by the CMPD and Secret Service Special
  • Parking lots around campus will remain open
  • You will need your student, faculty or staff ID to enter buildings and security areas around our campus. Make sure to have your JWU ID at all times
