Tim Andriola, executive chef and co-owner of Timô Restaurant in Sunny Isles, Fla., is the latest industry leader to serve as a JWU Distinguished Visiting Chef. He has a reputation as one of the most creative and innovative culinarians in South Florida.
“Chef Andriola is a great fit considering his connection with the South Florida community and our focus on providing an exceptional culinary education,” said Bruce Ozga, dean of culinary education for the North Miami Campus. He has worked at Chez Panisse, Charlie Trotter’s, Tra Vigne, Olives and locally at Chef Allen’s in Aventura, Fla. and as the executive chef at Mark’s South Beach, which was named the number one restaurant in Miami by Gourmet.
Timô features a distinctive menu of contemporary Mediterranean-infused Italian cuisine and has been lauded by publications such as The South Florida Sun-Sentinel, The Miami Herald and Esquire.
