As most small business owners can attest, every day presents a new challenge. Eric Weiner has faced these obstacles, and continues to expand his business while maintaining a strong commitment to the highest levels of customer service. As president and CEO of All Occasion Transportation, Eric started his company as a staff of one, with just one limousine, while working on his bachelor's degree from JWU.
“Over the past 18 years I have overcome many challenges,” says Eric. “Starting a company at 19 taught me a lot about relationships and perceptions. I find that too often people put their careers and financial goals as a top priority rather than figuring out how these things fit into their entire life."
Although Eric is no longer as involved in All-Occasion's day-to-day operations, he continues to manage each department and provides vision and creativity for the company's ongoing growth strategy. Eric’s greatest personal accomplishment was to be able to find out what was most important to him at an early age.
“I am very proud that I have been able to successfully define how I want to grow my business in ways that are able to offer a work environment for our employees that is just about the best the industry has to offer, while also being able to recognize that for me personally the business is only one aspect of how I measure my success.”
Eric's notable accomplishments and awards with All-Occasion Transportation include winning the Small Business Administration's 2008 Rhode Island "Small Business Person of the Year"; the Limousine & Chauffeured Transportation 2002 "Best Limousine Company in America" and being recognized as one of Providence Business News "40 Under 40."
