JWU Providence : Residential Life : Select Your Housing

Select Your Housing

Your career at JWU should be one of learning, unforgettable experiences, and growth —and it starts where you live. Living on campus keeps you connected to the JWU friends you have made, faculty, and the campus community; it also provides you with the convenience of access to university resources such as academic buildings, recreational facilities, dining services, and transportation hubs.

Current and prospective students alike can research housing options, such as Special Interest Housing, read FAQs, and even apply for housing online. Choose your appropriate student status from the menu on the left.

Special Needs
If you need a particular type of housing accommodation, submit special needs or disability documentation to the Center for Academic Support.

Gender Neutral Housing
Gender neutral housing is an on-campus housing option that places no restriction on the gender of roommates. This means that students can live in the same room or suite with a person(s) of a different biological gender. Gender neutral housing will be offered alongside traditional housing in a variety of halls. JWU has created this option to help create an environment which acknowledges, appreciates and respects the diverse nature of the JWU student body, while giving students more flexibility in finding a roommate who is truly compatible. Residing in gender neutral housing is a choice; no student will be assigned to a gender neutral living situation without applying for that option.
