Service-Learning

JWU Community Service CLT Freedom Park Project 2010Community Service-Learning (CSL) is part of our educational philosophy and integrates community service and academics.

Each year, nearly 1000 students at the Charlotte Campus complete community service hours at various sites.

Foundations of Leadership Studies (LEAD2001)
If you are currently enrolled in Foundations of Leadership Studies (LEAD2001), you must complete an online registration to select your Community Service-Learning (CSL) site.

You can preview all CSL profiles, including detailed information about each outreach site. To make sure you don’t get closed out during registration, choose 1-2 alternates. Register for your site.

At your site, you’ll experience firsthand the value of giving back to the community, and learn to understand service as part of leadership. You’ll enhance your experience with group discussion and reflective writing.
