Johnson & Wales University provides its students with free, comprehensive primary healthcare and prevention services. Whether you are a commuter or resident student, you can use the university’s Health Service facilities at either the Downcity or Harborside Campus. No appointment is necessary.

Trained medical professionals, including a nurse and doctor, are ready to provide treatment and offer other assistance at both facilities. While no appointment is necessary, you must bring your insurance information or JWU ID.

Counseling Services The Counseling Center provides free confidential services for JWU students, including individual and group counseling; emergency psychological services; and educational outreach programming. The center also offers psychological consultation to students, faculty, staff or parents who are concerned about a student.
