Johnson & Wales University (JWU) is accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges, Inc. (NEASC), through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. This accreditation encompasses the university's four campuses in Providence, R.I.; North Miami, Fla.; Denver, Colo., and Charlotte, N.C. Legal control is vested in the Board of Trustees of Johnson & Wales University. The university is approved for the training of veterans. JWU is an institutional member of Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges. The university is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students.
