Allison Jackson, PA-C, is a native of California who has made Rhode Island her home for the past 20 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Loyola Marymount University followed by Physician Assistant Certification at University of Southern California. Allison has been a practicing Physician Assistant for 27 years. During her career, she has practiced in Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics and Family Medicine. Allison has focused her last 18 years of practice working in Emergency Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital. During her tenure at Rhode Island Hospital, Allison has held both department and hospital appointments including memberships on operational committees and strategic planning. Allison holds a Teaching Associate position at Brown Alpert School of Medicine and is the Director of Mid-level Providers for University Emergency Medicine Foundation. In 2010, Allison began a one year post graduate training program for newly graduated Mid-level providers. She currently directs the post graduate program, now in its third year and credited with graduating ten Mid-level providers into successful positions.
