Community Service-Learning (CSL) integrates academics with community service. Through Foundations of Leadership Studies (LEAD2001), you'll have the opportunity to apply your skills in the real world while simultaneously providing targeted assistance to nonprofit agencies and local schools.
To facilitate the process, Wells Fargo has joined forces with the Charlotte Campus to promote leadership and volunteerism among students, faculty and staff.
The goal of the Wells Fargo Community Outreach Program is to make a difference in the Charlotte community through service-learning, volunteer programs and in-kind support, particularly in the focus areas of hunger, homelessness and education.
In addition, Community Outreach works with Human Resources on the Federal Community Service Work Study Program to provide opportunities to earn work-study awards at nonprofit community partner sites and and with Experiential Education & Career Services to place students at local non-profit organizations.
