GOAL Transform career development services to better meet the needs of university graduates and alumni by
1. Intensifying our efforts to promote and measure career progress and achievement of our alumni; 2. Initiating new career success measures that go beyond 98 percent employment within 60 days of graduation; 3. Creating a stronger student-customer service model for the Career Development Office; 4. Implementing measures to assess the effectiveness of the Career Management System; 5. Expanding career services to include graduate school, continuing education and international students; 6. Developing and implementing measures of employer demand and student and employer satisfaction to advance improvement.
GOAL Enhance employer relations by
1. Building strong employer demand for the graduates of every degree program; 2. Providing mechanisms for industry input into degree programs through strong partnerships with academics; 3. Developing electronic tools to facilitate industry’s recruitment of our graduates and alumni.
GOAL Re-engineer experiential education by
1. Consistently and effectively offering signature experiential education across programs and campuses; 2. Providing each student with a real-world learning experience integrated with the academic component of their program; 3. Developing and implementing new student and employer satisfaction measures for experiential education.
