Community Service

Many of our community service opportunities are integrated with academic work or tied to an internship. You’ll apply your skills in a real world setting, add experience to your career learning and give back to the North Miami area.

Our students performed more than 33,500 hours of community service work during the 2011-12 academic year.

And the North Miami Campus has been named to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll several times since the program’s inception in 2006. (The Honor Roll is the highest federal recognition institutions of higher education can receive for supporting community service and service-learning.)
